The mini cat is my cute cross stitch design loved by many on my blog Happiness is Cross Stitching, many of you have taken him to heart and send me your completed photos of your completed mini cats, and I thought it would be nice for mini cat to have his own blog where you can post all your completed mini cat cross stitch!

If you wish to post your completed mini cat cross stitch from my mini cat range you are welcome to do so here, just email me for an invite and I will send you the link for you to post.

You can post work in progress and then your completed design. Please describe what materials you used to stitch your design as this helps anyone who wishes to stitch the same pattern.

Please centre your picture in the middle with materials listed underneath and label your mini cat using the right hand column in post settings when writing your post.

That's it, happy mini cat stitching!

Jo's 2012 Valentine Cat

Thank you for inviting me to join the blog, Lynn.  I am a fan of your Mini Cats and have diligently downloaded all the charts.  Now I just need to diligently stitch them all.  I think I will be getting lots of inspiration from this blog.

Here is a little Golden Oldie from me:

Threads - DMC
Fabric - 28 count evenweave dyed with fruit tea
(smells delicious while you are stitching!)

My 10th finish for 2012 was the Needlecraft Haven February Challenge.  Every month Christine discovers a freebie chart and we all stitch it and finish it however we like.  We can't show anyone until the end of the month.  February's came from  Lynn B of Happiness is Cross Stitching.  We could choose either of the two freebies and I chose the cat.  Then I decided the "LOVE" would look good stitched over 1 underneath the cat.  I changed the "O" heart slightly, it was originally a dangler!  I do have an issue with DMC 310, it doesn't cover well on 28 count.  Does anyone have a recommendation for a good black?  Not an expensive one please!

  1. What a nice idea to dye your fabric with fruit tea :-)
I have no solution for the black'problem', but think you minicat is still looking love(ly).
