The mini cat is my cute cross stitch design loved by many on my blog Happiness is Cross Stitching, many of you have taken him to heart and send me your completed photos of your completed mini cats, and I thought it would be nice for mini cat to have his own blog where you can post all your completed mini cat cross stitch!

If you wish to post your completed mini cat cross stitch from my mini cat range you are welcome to do so here, just email me for an invite and I will send you the link for you to post.

You can post work in progress and then your completed design. Please describe what materials you used to stitch your design as this helps anyone who wishes to stitch the same pattern.

Please centre your picture in the middle with materials listed underneath and label your mini cat using the right hand column in post settings when writing your post.

That's it, happy mini cat stitching!

Peggie: Noel

NOEL was stitched on 14 count DMC Platinum Aida cloth.  I love it and can’t wait to have it framed.

Peggie: BOO

BOO was stitched on 16 count DMC White Aida cloth.  It wasn’t until I started stitching it that I realized it wasn’t 14.  I forgot I had a piece of 16 but I'm very pleased with it anyone.  My dear hubby is going to start making frames for me (once he gets his shop in order), but I wanted to share it now in case it might inspire anyone to stitch it.

Peggie - Snowy Mini Cat

Snowy Mini Cat was stitched on 14 count DMC Charles Craft Platinum.

Peggie - Love to Read

Love to Read was designed on 14 count DMC Charles Craft White.  I was thrilled to find a nice blue frame to match the colours in the design.

Peggie: Time for Tea

This Time for Tea design was stitched on 14 count DMC Charlescraft Gold Standard Aida cloth with DMC floss.  I am putting a Tea-themed gift basket together for my sister’s birthday and will include this cross stitch. I know she’ll love it!

When I originally stitched it, I only used one thread for the back stitching and ended up back stitching over that that with another thread....that made a huge difference.  I don't think my photo captures how sweet it is in person.  This is the first time I didn't use a black frame with a Mini Cat; instead I selected a frame that matches the colour of the tea bag and I'm very happy with the result.

Peggie: Miss Mini Valentine

My cross stitching slowed down a little bit because I moved recently, but I finally finished Lynn’s Valentine design introducing Miss Mini and look forward to displaying it next Valentine's Day. It was stitched on 14 count DMC Charlescraft Gold Standard Aida cloth with DMC floss.

Love to quilt cross stitch.

At last I have finished the love to quilt cross stitch, well it was finished last year but I have only just decided how to display it. At first I thought I would decorate it on a box lid then changed my mind.

I stitched this on 14 count aida, white. Used cotton fabric I had in my stash for the border and displayed in a 9in hoop.

Modified Version of Love To Quilt

I slightly modified Lynn's beautiful design "Love To Quilt" to I Love Blanket Club" for my best friend who has been a member of a Blanket Club for over 10 years.  I love this design and was happy to stitch it a second time....especially since I found a few  faux pas I made the first time.
